As tactical RPG Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked’s launch steadily approaches, publisher and developer Resolution Games has shared more details about what we can expect going into the game’s second campaign.
Once we complete its first, Embers of Chaos, which introduces us to its roster of playable characters and helps us familiarize ourselves with its systems, Battlemarked’s second campaign, Crown of Frost, takes us to the Forgotten Realms’ far north.
Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked’s Crown of Frost Campaign
Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked’s Crown of Frost campaign sees our heroes arriving as Icewind Dale is preparing for war.
Armies gather at Frost Keep, while unsettling sightings of a Frost Giant outside of their usual territory set the stage for the conflict to come.
Facing not just the cold environment but also dire wolves and other nasty beasties, we will take our party “from the downtrodden streets of Ten Town’s Lonelywood to the dizzying heights of the Spine of the World.”
As we encounter our fair share of giants, ravens, goblins, kobolds, and slaadi we’ll have to judge who could prove to be a faithful friend and who might be a foe, disguised or not.
“I’ve always believed D&D’s power lies in its places as much as its protagonists,” said Matt Sernett, Narrative Designer on Battlemarked. “Icewind Dale, Ten Towns, Frost Keep: these are not just backdrops, but characters in their own right. Setting a story here, in contrast to our already announced campaign that features settings like Neverwinter Wood and Cragmaw Castle, gives us the ability to deliver two full campaigns at launch that honor the breadth of adventure to be found in the Forgotten Realms.”
Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked’s second campaign, Crown of Frost, will be playable as soon as November 20, 2025, when the tactical RPG releases on PC, via Steam, PlayStation and Meta Quest.
