Publisher and developer Techland today revealed Dying Light 2’s release times, answering the question of when the game unlocks in different regions of the world. In addition, it also confirmed that players will be able to pre-load the title ahead of its early February launch.
Dying Light 2 will benefit from a simultaneous PC launch across the globe, keeping it simple as far as release times go. US players will be able to hop in and explore Villedor starting with the afternoon of February 3. In Europe, the title launches at or close to midnight, on February 4.

The developer notes that the game’s console versions will unlock at midnight local time in each region.
As far as pre-loading Dying Light 2 goes, anyone planning to pick up the game on Xbox can already begin downloading its files.
PC and PlayStation users will be able to start pre-loading the action-adventure title 48 hours prior to its launch in their region.
Techland previously detailed how it plans to approach Dying Light 2’s post-launch support, the title’s roadmap promising over 5 years’ worth of content. The game will also supposedly keep completionists busy for a very long time.
Dying Light 2 is slated to launch on February 4, 2022 and headed to PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4. Its Nintendo Switch version arrives at a later point in 2022.
