Escape from Tarkov has seen a recent boost in popularity, however, just like more players were introduced to its hardcore action, they also bumped into Error 260 and trouble logging in.
Here’s everything we know about Escape from Tarkov’s Error 260, what it means and whether or not there’s a fix for it.
Escape From Tarkov Error 260
Escape from Tarkov's Error 260 is an old acquaintance of its earliest adopters, popping up when the game has trouble connecting to the authentication servers.
Sadly, this means that users have a limited set of options when Error 260 impedes them from playing Escape from Tarkov. Some have had luck getting in by spamming sign in attempts, however, that's far from an ideal fix and hasn't solved the issue for everyone.
Players are essentially left with the option of waiting out Error 260 whenever it pops up, as developer Battlestate Games works on restoring their ability to connect to the Escape from Tarkov servers.
