The enhanced Career mode, a fan favorite, will make a comeback, incorporating a multitude of feature upgrades that are said to amplify the sporting drama even further.
F1 Manager 2023 Sporting Director Role Introduced
The 2023 version introduces the role of the Sporting Director, offering a more in-depth management of the pit crew and their training schedule. This role challenges players to strike a balance between minimising costly mistakes and achieving quick pit stop times.
Additionally, new weight considerations will necessitate players to find the right balance between car performance and reliability. All this while staying within the Cost Cap to maximize their driver pairing’s chances of success.
Frontier also mentioned a newly implemented driver confidence system that supports daring overtaking maneuvers, with cars racing side-by-side as each world-class driver verbally responds to instructions from their race engineers.
Variations in optimal tire temperatures will lead to fluctuating grip levels, thereby introducing increased drama on the racetrack. Players’ split-second decisions could mean the difference between taking the lead or ending up against the barriers.
Select from any of the ten teams participating in the 2023 championship and compete in a historic series of 23 races, including six F1 Sprint events. David Croft and Karun Chandhok will return to commentary to help amplify the drama when F1 Manager 2023 launches later this Summer.
We’ll keep you posted on any additional details as development continues.
