2026’s Fable reboot sees us returning to the world of Albion for the first time in a long while and, since violence remains an efficient approach to dealing with rude bandits and the odd malevolent chicken, it’s always good to keep track of the weapons list we can choose from while we adventure.
2026’s Fable reboot retains a lot of the elements that made the original game great, staying true to the spirit of the series. Judging by the first proper look we got at the game, we’ll have several ranged and melee weapons to wield while forging our legend.
Fable Reboot Weapons List
As spotted in January 2026’s Developer Direct showcase, which you’ll find embedded below, the Fable reboot weapons list already includes several options that should fit different playstyles.
In the video, the protagonist is most prominently depicted wielding a sword, but, on the melee front, we also get a glimpse at them wielding a two-handed hammer as well as what appears to be a nimble rapier and parrying dagger.
As far as the ranged weapons available in 2026’s Fable reboot go, we’ve so far seen a bow and crossbow. We can switch between them and their melee counterparts, depending on the foes we end up facing.
Fable Reboot Weapons List
- Sword
- Two-handed hammer
- Rapier and parrying dagger
- Bow
- Crossbow
A pitchfork was also briefly featured during a section seemingly depicting blacksmithing, but it’s unclear whether or not it is a weapon we can use against opponents or a tool with a different purpose.
More additions to the list of weapons available in 2026’s Fable reboot will likely be unveiled as we get closer to the game’s autumn release date. In the meantime, check out what we know about its voice actors and cast.
