It's no secret that Fallout 76 has a particularly impressive bestiary of monsters for players to struggle against. One of the more unexpected creatures is, for sure, the so-called Megasloth. The name says it all.
The Fallout 76 Megasloth is an especially nasty ambush mutant, which can be found hanging off trees in a wide variety of sub-types. You'll find information on how to approach these formidable creatures, as well as where to find them - down below.
Fallout 76 Megasloth
These nine-feet tall monster-sloths are anything but slow. Some of them even have fungal spores growing on their back, making them a risky fight at best and a guaranteed death at worst.
Megasloths can be found at the following locations:
- Tanagra Town
- Treetops
- Watoga Shopping Plaza, across the river and to the east
- Creekside Sundew grove, possibly fighting off a detachment of Super Mutants
Additionally, a variant of the Megasloth may spawn as the final parade attacker during the Fasnacht Day event, so beware of that. These creatures usually drop Megasloth-specific animal items, such as meat and pelts, but some variants may also net you Glowing meat and/or Glowing blood.
