Multiplayer online dungeon adventure game Fellowship is about to get a bit more festive as soon as its December 11 patch goes live, bringing us The Stronghold Hearthwarming holiday event alongside some fairly notable quickplay changes and more.
Starting today, December 11, and ending on January 15, 2026, The Stronghold Hearthwarming holiday event gives the hub area a festive makeover while spreading piles of snow throughout it. Interacting with them adds a special ability to our action bars, allowing us to throw snowballs at other players waiting to set off on their next dungeon.
Fellowship December 11 Patch Notes
Fellowship’s Stronghold Hearthwarming event also adds a series of festive mounts and armor skins that we can claim by using Warm Wishes, a seasonal currency obtained by unlocking a new group of nodes in the rewards tree.
In addition, festive optional minibosses spawn in dungeons, granting bonuses and extending the timer for parties brave enough to challenge and defeat them.
Fellowship’s December 11 Patch also introduces the notice board, which makes keeping track of events and updates easier while in-game.
In addition, the update also removes Marks of Fellowship as a reward earned from Quickplay matches, increasing the amount earned in League matches. The currency can also be used to directly purchase materials like Ingots, Aethers, and Godstones, rather than relying on timed boxes.
Below, you’ll find the full Fellowship December 11 patch notes, as shared by the developer on Steam:
Fellowship Limited Event: The Stronghold Hearthwarming
Over the holiday period our team is going to be taking a break and enjoying the midwinter with family and friends. This will be the last scheduled update until the new year and we wanted to leave players with something to keep them warm.
We’ve decorated the Stronghold with snow and festive fun, and our very jolly vendor has unlockable skins and mounts available through in-game activities until January 15th.
Quickplay Experience
As part of our continued review of existing experiences, we’ve wanted to take a look at the effectiveness of Quickplay for some time. Our immediate goal is to ensure the intentions of Quickplay are preserved without veteran players being made to feel required to play in modes they are not interested in. As a result we’ve made major changes to how Marks of Fellowship are earned.
We will continue to monitor how these changes to Quickplay affect not just the experience of the mode, but the economy as a whole as we look at how it affects the rate of progression from here. This is unlikely to be the last change we make to the mode, but we wanted to see the effect of these changes to base our next steps on.
