Publisher and developer Chief Rebel has shared the first details about Fellowship’s highly-anticipated pre-season 2 update, which is currently slated to go live on February 19, 2026.
As expected from games with a seasonal model, Fellowship’s pre-season 2 brings with it a full progression reset “to ensure a fair and clean starting point for everyone.” This essentially means that our gear, abilities, talents, and every currency tied to our accounts will be reset once the update drops.
Fellowship’s Pre-Season 2 Update Launches in February With Two New Heroes
We do get to keep the cosmetics we’ve earned and purchased alongside any event rewards and mounts.
The developer does explain that leaderboard trims will, however, reset, “as they’re tied to seasonal progression,” encouraging us to spend any currency we might have gathered since launch before pre-season 2 goes live.
Fellowship’s hero roster also grows when its pre-season 2 update releases, receiving a new tank and a new healer.
The developer also plans on improving the new player experience, “while also giving existing players something meaningful to do outside of Dungeons or while waiting in queue,” through the introduction of a new biome described as a “low-pressure, drop-in/drop-out play space.”
Although we don’t have specific details about it just yet, we can expect it to help with learning mechanics as well as experimenting with different heroes, abilities, and builds.
Fellowship’s pre-season 2 update also aims to balance the existing hero roster and buff underperforming builds. Mechanics like Tariq’s swing timer are getting reworked, while the talent tree will also see some changes. No new abilities are planned for now.
On February 19, Fellowship’s in-game store also makes its debut, introducing new cosmetic options for its heroes. General UI polish, gameplay flow improvements, and hero-specific keybinds are also part of the developer’s plans for Fellowship’s pre-season 2.
Furthermore, we’ll get additional features later in the update cycle, including communities “designed to help you find your people,” essentially acting as a “lightweight guild or clan system.”
In addition, profile customization is also planned, its initial iteration promising frames, backgrounds, titles, and icons.
Fellowship’s pre-season 2 update sounds fairly sizeable, and it will be interesting to see how many players return for it when it releases on or around February 19, 2026.
