What games are coming this month to Xbox Game Pass? Here we’ll be collecting the latest news and info on the video games set to hit Xbox and PC Game Pass each month.
Microsoft and the Xbox division aren’t making it easy to keep track of which tier is getting what, so we’re doing some heavy lifting here and making things as clear as possible. Whereas some big releases are day-one arrivals, others arrive much later, and then we have games that hit the more basic tiers after a run on the higher ones.

There’s always the possibility of shadow-drops and surprises before the month ends, but this is what we know about Game Pass’ December 2025 offerings at the time of writing.
Marvel Cosmic Invasion - December 1 (day one)
Marvel Cosmic Invasion has hit Game Pass through Cloud, Console, Handheld, and PC. It’s an old-fashioned beat ‘em up from Tribute Games (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge) that pits Earth’s Mightiest Heroes (and many cosmic ones) against Annihilus and several other big villains taking advantage of his invasion from the depths of the Negative Zone.
Embark on this arcade-like adventure alone or with up to four friends (local and online), but we can almost guarantee you’ll have a great time regardless. Marvel Cosmic Invasion doesn’t only look and sound retro; it also perfectly captures the 1990s vibes you seek while smartly refreshing the controls and familiar game loop.
Routine - December 4 (day one)
After a long and bumpy development, Routine has finally arrived, and it’s hitting Cloud, Console, Handheld, and PC too. It’s a first-person survival horror game which takes you to a desolate lunar base that has been overrun by killer robots, or at least that’s what it looks like.
While the premise might seem basic, the textured, 80s-inspired art direction and moody atmosphere are putting Routine a step above the competition, and we can only hope the gameplay is up to par. With a very minimal UI and limited tools at your disposal, it could be one of the tensest space horror adventures since Alien: Isolation.
Death Howl - December 9 (day one)
Death Howl is an odd one at first glance, and limited to Handheld and PC for now, yet we believe this stylish “soulslike deck builder” could give us something really fresh before the year ends.
“Craft cards and claim powerful totems to defeat the woeful spirits lurking in the mystical lands. Unravel the tale of a grieving mother in her desperate attempt to defy death and bring back her son.” We know next to nothing about this one, but part of the excitement that comes with Game Pass’ new arrivals is the thrill of discovering overlooked gems.

Here we’ll be listing every other game coming to Game Pass this month and which tier each one is hitting.
First up, Stellaris, World War Z: Aftermath, and Medieval Dynasty are now available on Console, PC, and Cloud through the Game Pass Essential (cheapest tier) offerings.
