Companion Mute Mod
If you’re in the middle of a God of War Ragnarok playthrough and getting frustrated with companions constantly telling you what to do or offering hints for puzzles that feel too easy, this mod might be just what you need. It removes over 1,500 unnecessary and, for some, patronizing voice lines, allowing you to enjoy the game with less hand-holding.
No PlayStation PC SDK Requirement
God of War Ragnarok is getting negative ratings on Steam mainly because of its requirement to have a PlayStation Network account so you can play it, and in some cases this is leading to performance issues. iArtorias has created a mod that removes the PSN account requirement by stripping away the PlayStation PC SDK runtime requirement for God of War Ragnarok. To install you just need to copy both the version.dll and PsPcSdk.dll files into the game’s installation folder. This mod was removed for unknown reasons, but it’s now available again.
Cheat Engine Basic
The Cheat Engine is a simple third-party application that allows you to generate cheats from within God of War Ragnarok, so you can give yourself enough gold or experience to level up Kratos or Atreus to whatever stats you desire. You can’t use this to give yourself infinite health or change the Field of View, but hopefully, there will be options for this soon. Alternatively, you can try out this Cheat Table Mod.
NG Plus Save
If you’ve already played through God of War Ragnarok on the PlayStation 5 and want to bypass the grind to dive straight into New Game Plus on PC, this simple save file is perfect for you. It grants you full stats, all equipment, and everything else required to embark on a fresh adventure. You download and paste the save file into your Save Folder for it to work. There’s another version from Code0002 with modded stats and maxed out equipment.
Field of View Fix
A wider Field of View allows players to see more of their surroundings on the sides of the screen, which can be important to adjust since there are so many different screen sizes these days, especially for widescreen monitors. Unfortunately, in God of War Ragnarok, you will not find this option available, but thankfully a fix has been implemented with this mod. After attaching the mod to the game, ensure you click on the “Advanced Option” at the bottom corner of the screen. Right-click, choose “Do Nothing,” and replace it with code that does not act. Then, adjust the FOV value in the address list according to your preferences. Some users are reporting it works, others are saying it’s crashing, so performance may vary. You can also try this Camera Tweaks Mod.
Non-essential God of War Ragnarok Mods
These are the only mods available for cheats right now, but it’s still early days for God of War Ragnarok on PC, so expect us to be back updating this within the next few days. Check what other PlayStation 5 games are available on PC.
