Battlefield Studios’ comeback king, Battlefield 6, is about to start its second season, and you can get in ahead of that on the cheap.
The multiplayer behemoth launched in October of 2025, and for fans and critics alike, it was lauded as a return to form for the series after some muddled entries over the past decade.
As Call of Duty’s star begins to fade, Battlefield’s reemergence on the scene is timely, and while there’s healthy online competition out there and there’s been some valid grumbles about choices made post-launch, the game is still going strong as a long Season 1 comes to a close.
No doubt the game will get a spike in players when Season 2 kicks off on February 17, 2026, and publisher EA has taken the opportunity to maximise those numbers with the lowest price yet on Steam.
Battlefield 6 Blasts a hole in its RRP
Until February 25, 2026, you can pick up Battlefield 6 for 35% off, making it £38.99 for the standard edition, while the Phantom Edition is £67.49 thanks to a 25% price cut.
Battlefield 6 features large-scale warfare between two teams on sizable maps with destructible environments, offering flexibility in your tactical approach.
There are some small-scale modes as well, and a Battle Royale standalone RedSec, but what makes Battlefield stand out is the grandiose spectacle of chaotic warfare in large-scale battles.
