Jurassic World Evolution 3 is finally here with all sorts of new park management challenges and a top-notch suite of creative tools. If you’re jumping into the Campaign and Challenge modes first, you might find yourself in a tough financial spot and looking to get rid of some prehistoric creatures, but how can you sell the dinosaurs in Jurassic World Evolution 3?
Selling dinosaurs in Jurassic World Evolution 3
If you’re not willing to wait for dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures to die of old age or to get them offed by a carnivore, there’s one option to remove them from your park forever, but sadly, Jurassic World Evolution 3 doesn’t outright tell you how to do so.
To sell dinosaurs (not actually selling, more on that later) in Jurassic World Evolution 3, you need to tell a capture team helicopter to tranquilize them first. Just bring up the quick action submenu to add the task to their schedule or jump into the vehicle yourself to do it manually. After that’s done, you can move one or more creatures around to place them in different enclosures or spots of the same one. This also allows you to “rewild” them.
Since the game doubles down on the idea of coexistence with the prehistoric animals and protecting them vs. just exploiting them for profit, you can’t sell dinosaurs in Jurassic World Evolution 3; instead you pay to get them off your hands and into a new safe environment.
Once they’re sedated, simply hover over them with the cursor and, if the map allows you to (there are some Campaign-related restrictions), you’ll get the option to rewild them. You’ll be charged a variable fee which changes depending on the type and amount of animals you want to transport.
Though you can’t make money off selling dinosaurs in this game, rewilding them is the easiest way to fix the mistake of mixing the wrong species together without having to build an entirely new enclosure. By sorting prehistoric incompatibilities in your park out, you can improve the public opinion and thus have more income.
