Hyper Scape's CrownCast extension allows Twitch streamers to better engage their viewers while playing Ubisoft's first ever battle royale.
Using Hyper Scape's CrownCast Twitch extension lets streamers not only share their stats and loadouts with those watching but also gives viewers the power of altering the course of the match by voting on which in-game event spawns next.
Since Twitch and its dashboard have changed quite a bit over the years, figuring out how to get the extension can prove tricky. Here's our handy guide that clears up how to download and install the Hyper Scape CrownCast Twitch extension.
Hyper Scape CrownCast Extension
These are the steps required to download and install the Hyper Scape CrownCast extension, as detailed in a support article:
- Log into the Twitch account connected to your Ubisoft account.
- Navigate to the Twitch Creator Dashboard.
- Choose Extensions from the sidebar.
- Search for Crowncast using the Search all extensions search bar.
- You should also be able to find it in the Discovery section, by selecting View All under Extensions for Games.
- Click the Install button displayed next to the extension.
As soon as the installation completes, you should see a pop-up letting you choose between browsing more extensions and configuring the Hyper Scape CrownCast Twitch extension.
Selecting the latter lets you connect your Ubisoft and Twitch accounts – assuming you haven't already – and setting up things like stream delay or the Kudos feature.
Ubisoft notes that a stream delay higher than 30 seconds will lead to some features of the Hyper Scape CrownCast extension not working properly.
After configuring everything, head to My Extensions, click Activate and select Set As Overlay 1 from the drop-down menu that appears. You're now good to go.
