Nioh 3 was released in early February to glowing reviews, which no doubt helped it reach more players outside the action-RPG fanatics that loved previous entries in Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja’s action-RPG series.
Now, following the 1 million copies sold worldwide milestone (as of February 20), Koei Tecmo has announced all players will get a dazzling Thunderous Equipment Set with both Warrior and Ninja attire. “Thank you to all the players around the world whose support keeps Nioh 3 and the Nioh series going strong,” the official post added.
The good news is that the Thunderous Equipment Set is now available to claim, celebrating the milestone of 1 million copies shipped worldwide for Nioh 3 and more than 10 million across the entire Nioh series. The bonus set can be claimed in-game via the Boons option under Preparations in the Shrine menu.
While DLC packs are planned for the future, we expect smaller pieces of free content to arrive through regular patches in the meantime.
