LG has revealed what it calls a new standard for immersive gaming experiences with the UltraGear evo 5K gaming monitor.
A bold claim! So what does it bring to the table (well, desk)? There’s the fact that it’s a 5K monitor with Hyper Mini LED technology, giving players the kind of clarity, depth, and realism they crave from their AAA blockbusters and high-octane shooters.
LG UltraGear evo Offers Sparkling Clarity
On the latter, if the crystal clear high-end visuals are cramping your competitive style, this monitor features a Dual Mode that lets you switch between 5K 165Hz and QHD 330Hz to get the optimal experience.
Predictably, there’s an AI sticker slapped on a tech product, and this monitor features 5K AI upscaling, which is supposed to intelligently enhance on-screen content to 5K quality without requiring extra GPU performance or upgrades.
It’s not all about the gaming if you don’t want it to be. The monitor is also recommended for creative types and professionals (they can be gamers too, you know), as the high quality allows for clarity and precision on demanding visual tasks.
The LG UltraGear evo will be available in the UK from the middle of July 2026. If you want to know more, you can head on over to the LG.com website.
