Publisher Focus Home Interactive and developer Streum On Studio today revealed the opening cinematic trailer for upcoming first-person shooter Necromunda: Hired Gun.
The trailer gives us a glimpse at the Hive World's sprawling exterior before traveling through several interior locations. Necromunda's status as an industrial powerhouse is clearly reflected in its aesthetics and, to further cement it as not that ideal of a holiday destination, several gangs call it home.
Necromunda: Hired Gun's opening cinematic trailer then ends with a close-up of what seems to be a badass, determined female bounty hunter wielding a double-barreled shotgun.
Players actually take the role of one such bounty hunter, aiming to complete contracts for coin. Your augmented body lets you run on walls and perform leaps over great distances, while the game's varied, customizable weapons make sure that your enemies don't get to fight another day.
You also have a loyal cyber-mastiff that you can call upon in battle to "sniff out and kill enemies for you." Better yet, we won't have to wait too long to fight alongside our canine companions, since Necromunda: Hired Gun is set to launch on PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4 on June 1.
