Humble celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2026 and is marking the occasion with several bundles, including a collection of great narrative-driven indie games.
The company has been offering packages of discounted games, software, and more since 2011, raising over $275 million for charity in that time.
Humble will be releasing 15 bundles over the next year to commemorate its founding, and it kicks things off with not only an asset store bundle for developers, but a gaming bundle championing the storytellers of indie game development.
Humble’s Golden Tales Bundle is a Multi-Story Affair
The Golden Tales Bundle comes in three-tier flavours, featuring three, five, and eight games respectively.
In the 3 Item Bundle, we have INTERIOR/NIGHT’s interactive crime drama, As Dusk Falls, which takes place in a small Arizona town in 1998 and sees players shape the fallout from a robbery gone wrong.
Next up is Torpor Games’ wordy political saga, Suzerian, which puts you in the presidential shoes of Anton Rayne, the leader of Sordland, a country experiencing a pivotal time in its history. The game spans Anton’s first term in office, and your choices as him will have a significant impact on Sordland’s security, economy, welfare, and diplomatic relations, not to mention its people.
Finally, in the Three Item Bundle, we have an emotional tale set during the Cold War in BAFTA-winning developer State of Play’s South of the Circle. Here, an academic crash-lands in Antarctica during the Cold War era, and players control the life choices that led them here, whether for career or for love.
Joining those three games in the Five Item Bundle is a certified classic, reforged for a new era. Broken Sword - Shadow of the Templars: Reforged brings the adventures of American tourist George Stobbart and relentless journalist Nico Collard up to date as the pair find themselves embroiled in an ancient mystery concerning the Knights Templar.
Harold Halibut from Slow Bros. is also included, and this stop-motion, hand-crafted narrative adventure sees players take on the role of the titular lab assistant as he interacts with the other inhabitants of a spaceship sent to find a habitable planet for the human race.
The full-fat Eight Item Bundle throws in three more story-driven gems. There’s a time-looping RPG adventure, In Stars and Time, that brings retro-inspired RPG aesthetics to a complex, time-bending tale of found family and the haunting fear of reliving past mistakes.
Then you can take a pleasant bike ride at the end of the world in Scavenger Studios’ spellbinding narrative journey SEASON: A letter to the future. You essentially ride through gorgeous environments, documenting the people and places for future generations. A delightfully serene concept if it wasn’t for the looming threat of a cataclysmic event on the horizon.
Rounding the whole thing out is some hard sci-fi goodness with Starward Industries’ The Invincible. The game sees you searching for your missing crewmates on the planet Regis III, and unravelling the mystery of their disappearance.
You can pick up all these wonderful games for as little as £16.03, but if you can chip in a bit more, it’ll help send more funds to the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
