Overwatch enters its third year today and the patch notes for its latest PTR patch are now live. The most significant addition is that of replays, allowing players to jump back in and watch their ten most recent matches.
As far as heroes go, the latest Overwatch PTR patch notes reveal buffs for the newest hero, Baptiste, as well as Orisa, while D.Va and McCree are getting slight nerfs to their abilities.
Overwatch PTR Patch Notes May 23rd Patch
As the Overwatch PTR patch notes reveal, replays will allow players to review their most recent ten matches from a first-person, third-person, or bird’s-eye view perspective. Time can be slowed down, to focus on specific plays, or sped up in less intense moments. The UI can also be kept on or turned off.
The newest addition to Overwatch's roster, Baptiste, is receiving a buff in the latest PTR patch. The Biotic Launcher's ammo was increased from 10 to 12, while the Amplification Matrix now lasts 12 seconds instead of 10. Orisa's Protective Barrier no longer interrupts reloads when deployed, McCree's Peacekeeper primary fire recovery was reduced from 0.5 seconds to 0.4 seconds, and D.Va's Defense Matrix Length is now 10 meters down from 15.
The 23 May patch also addresses a number of other issues and bugs, like Torbjorn's turrets occasionally firing through walls. You can check the full Overwatch PTR patch notes over on the Blizzard forums.
