Poppy Playtime’s Chapter 5 release date is a clear sign that the popular indie horror/puzzle adventure game has more content in store for us going into 2026.
After releasing a tense, cryptic teaser right on Halloween, developer Mob Entertainment continued to hack away at the fifth chapter of the Poppy Playtime saga, which sends us further into its terrifying facility, promising new and familiar threats.

Poppy Playtime’s Chapter 5 release date officially occurred on February 18, 2026, for the game’s PC version. It will arrive on consoles later in 2026.

Those who purchase the DLC can look forward to “stomach-churning terrors” while exploring “The Prototype’s stomping grounds.”
The chapter sounds like the most isolating so far, however, we will “encounter the tortured denizens living in the darkness” who may (or may not) be willing to help us.
Poppy Playtime’s Chapter 5 throws its fair share of puzzles for us to solve, as well as dangerous environmental obstacles that we can overcome thanks to new GrabPack tools and functionality.
At what the developer describes as the “true rotten heart at the center of Playtime” , await “some of the company’s gravest sins.” We just have to evade Huggy Wuggy for long enough to get there.
