The fourth-quarter revenue report from Focus Entertainment and Dotemu owner PULLUP Entertainment confirms RoadCraft and Absolum as ongoing hits while a handful of new titles have sadly underperformed.
The report, shared on April 16, has confirmed a revenue of €84.0 million for the fourth quarter and €281.4 million for FY 2025/26, with the back catalogue bringing in €52.1 million for the quarter and €189.0 million for the full year, “three times higher than FY 2022/23.”
John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando was called a “solid launch” so far, yet below the company’s expectations. Released on March 12, the Saber-developed co-op shooter achieved 72 on MC, with most reviews saying it was functional enough but ultimately uninspired when compared to far better established IPs in the genre.
“Despite excellent player feedback,” both metroidvania MIO: Memories in Orbit and retro FPS Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War! missed their internal targets; the latter isn’t a Focus release and was published by Dotemu. It’s now unclear what the support for both titles will look like moving forward.
On the other hand, roguelite beat ‘em up Absolum, co-developed and published by Dotemu, is considered a hit, with over 500,000 copies sold so far. It joins Saber and Focus’ RoadCraft (1 million copies and counting) as another huge win for PULLUP. We’re expecting further expansions of both titles and (potentially) their IPs, but PULLUP hasn’t confirmed plans yet.
“Adjusted EBIT is now expected to be between €10 million and €15 million for 2025/26,” the report added. Some titles not reaching the expected targets and Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes being delayed to 2026/27 (Q2 2026 in the calendar at the time of writing) are behind the adjustment.
