Melee weapons are not to be underestimated in Remnant 2 as they're a surprisingly useful tool for both close encounters and ammo conservation. If you're making your way through the world of Losomn, you can add Dreamcatcher to your ever-growing arsenal.
Remnant 2's Dreamcatcher weapon does require you to put in a bit of work, though, as you can only secure it for yourself nearing the end of your journey through Losomn's burning buildings and moonlit streets.

In practice, you'll have to reach the asylum in Morrow Parish, that you've likely noticed shortly after setting foot in the area, and explore it in its entirety.
Find the prisoner in the basement and recover the statues that eventually lead you to obtaining the Nightweaver Stone Doll.
The article linked above covers the process. With the Nightweaver Stone Doll in hand (or rather inventory), you'll have to progress the main quest, obtain the Soulkey Tribute item, then interact with the cobwebbed portal in the basement.
This takes you to the Tormented Asylum, an alternate version of the building you previously explored. Remain in the basement and look for a strange glowing cobweb in a nearby open cell.
Offer it the Nightweaver Stone Doll and you obtain Remnant 2's Dreamcatcher. Although it counts among the slower melee weapons in the game, its unique modifier sets it aside from the rest.
Called Dreamwave, it makes your charge attack deal area-of-effect damage after dishing out 250 regular damage. The area-of-attack damage slows enemies while granting you stacks that increase attack speed and damage for each enemy hit.
