British studio Revolution Software and developer Antstream LTD have released a bundle of four point-and-click games from the 1990s - Lure of the Temptress, Beneath A Steel Sky, Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars, and Broken Sword II: The Smoking Mirror.
The title is currently 25% off on Steam as part of an introductory bundle, and includes the Amiga edition of Lure of the Temptress, the Amiga CD32 edition of Beneath a Steel Sky, and the PlayStation editions of both Broken Sky titles. Of particular note is Beneath A Steel Sky, which featured art by Watchmen artist Dave Gibbons.
Per the Steam page, the games are ‘powered by proprietary emulation technology from Antstream featuring custom GPU emulation timing developed specifically for Broken Sword 1 and 2’ in order to ensure that the games are as close to the original releases as possible.
This release comes not long after Revolution Software teased the potential development of a remaster of Broken Sword 2. A remaster of Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars was released last year after being funded through Kickstarter, raising over £600,000 of the £50,000 target.
