Ring of Elysium has proven to be a rather competent free-to-play battle royale game, and this is not only due to its competitive gameplay mechanics but also due to the fact that it is a rather extreme take on the genre, what with all the paragliding, snowboarding, avalanches and whatnot.
For that reason, ROE has attained over 1 million registered users as of late, and developers have decided to celebrate by releasing free Ring of Elysium DLC with the Gratitude of Dione Event.
Players will be able to claim the free Ring of Elysium DLC starting 1st of October via Steam, while the Gratitude of Dione event is underway. The DLC consists of a snazzy-looking gray turtleneck, and a special skull-faced bandanna for your avatar to wear.
Featuring regional transformation of the game world, simulated natural disasters, various types of extreme movement (hang-gliding, snowboarding, mountaineering, and more) and satisfying gunplay, Ring of Elysium is just the right choice if you're intrigued by the notion of a solid battle royale, but you're not too eager when it comes to dishing out dough willy-nilly.
If you would - understandably - like to give Ring of Elysium a shot, you're going to have to follow our very own guide on how to download and play Ring of Elysium in your region, because the game hasn't yet been globally released!
