There isn't a lot to go on at the moment as Rare hasn't revealed too many details about Sea of Thieves Season 4, but it's claimed that there was a slip-up recently that could have revealed a theme for the fourth season.
Rare has an art and models page onwhere they can share the teams work from Sea of Thieves with the community, and according to a Reddit post, a model of a Manta ray was added and then quickly pulled.
Since there's no proof this model was present on the page before being removed, it's difficult to claim it as proof, as it could just as easily be fake. It does contain the Bon Art Studio logo, which offers its services to Rare for 3D and concept art.
Could this be a sign that Rare intends to make the fourth season about Marine life, could we be about to see other sea creatures too like turtles, seals, and sea lions, penguins, and even crabs?
Theis certainly hoping so, but when we get official word we'll update you on the Season 4 contents.
