Rebellion Unplugged, the video game publisher’s board game divison, has launched the Kickstarter campaign for the upcoming Sniper Elite The Boardgame.
Inspired by the video game series, Sniper Elite The Boardgame mixes stealth with deception, tasking one player – who controls protagonist Karl Fairburn – with picking off his opponents and completing objectives in a top-secret U-boat launch facility.
Up to three other players can team up to oppose Karl, taking control of German soldiers who must defend their base, discover his location and hunt him down before he completes his objectives.
Sniper Elite The Board Game Kickstarter
Where the player controling Karl tracks their movements on a secret board and makes use of stealth and various equipment to complete their objective within 10 turns, the players controlling the German soldiers can user their numbers and intel to figure out the sniper’s location.
Sniper Elite The Board Game’s Kickstarter tiers start at £1/$2. To get a copy of the game, you’ll need to pledge £40/$53.
A Hitler teste-kill miniature is available at the highest Kickstarter tier, which will set you back £80/$105. Sniper Elite The Board Game’s expected delivery date is set for September 2021.
The game’s Kickstarter campaign has reached £5,254 of its £22,000 goals at the time of writing, with 21 days to go if you’d like to contribute. You can also get a better idea of how the game looks and what it offers in the video below.
