Players jumping into Soulcalibur VI will find that Patch 1.30, which went live today, has brought changes to the game's battle system, stages and character balance.
Patch 1.30 and its changes are now live on all platforms.
In terms of changes to Soulcalibur VI's battle system, the amount of guard stamina used when performing reversal edges and guard impacts has been increased, "providing more opportunities to crush an opponent's guard when they make frequent use of reversal edges and guard impacts". A number of input windows have also received a series of adjustments.
Soulcalibur's Patch 1.30 also sees the size of two of the game's battle stages increased, in a continuing effort to have fewer ring outs taking place. The camera will also zoom out in such a fashion that players approaching the edge of the stage will more easily see their surrounding.
When it comes to character balance, Patch 1.30 makes the soul gauges of characters that favor critical edges or soul charges easier to use. You can check out the full patch notes on publisher's Bandai Namco Entertainment's website.
