Some great games are on the cheap in the latest Steam Sale, including the magnificent Space Marine 2.
Yes, more great games are on sale on Steam. That’s the beauty of such a long-running storefront: there’s always a chance to get some excellent digital entertainment for a few quid and subsequently spend a lot picking up a treasure trove of cheap goodies.
While places like the Epic Games Store offer some juicy free games, many are still more comfortable on Steam, and so, it’s often preferable to see if that game they’ve been waiting for a sale on turns up.
What’s Hot in the Steam Sale?
In this latest Steam Sale selection, there are two meaty slabs of Warhammer 40K action in the aforementioned Space Marine 2 and the throwback FPS Boltgun. Space Marine 2’s various editions are all on sale, including the base game for £21.99 and the whopping Season Pass 1 & 2 bundle for £53.27.
If you’re looking for a more grounded shooter, the tactical WWI FPS Isonzo has its Deluxe Edition going for 75% off, making it just £8.37.
Fancy something a bit more sedate and tactile? How about Saber Interactive’s 2025 roadbuilding vehicle sim Roadcraft for just £24.49?
Elsewhere, Eremite Games’ revered dark fantasy city builder Against the Storm is a tantalizing £7.49, while the complete edition featuring the post-release DLC packs is almost half price. If you want a variety of Hooded Horse city builders, you can pick up Against the Storm, Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic, and Whiskerwood for £25.00.
After Hooded Horse’s recent anti-AI stance, perhaps you feel like being extra generous to the publisher, and you can get the publisher bundle that features 24 games for less than half the original £553.82 combined price.
One of those games in the Hooded Horse arsenal is the unusual city builder and RTS hybrid Empires of the Undergrowth, where you control an ant population and build your tiny empire for just £7.49 or with the DLC included for £16.44.
If all that war and machinery seems too loud and intense, then you could always indulge in the charming RPG Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley. The Moomins are always a captivating oddity, be it on the big screen or your computer screen, and this beautiful isometric adventure can be yours for just £10.79.
This only skims the surface of the Steam bargains at this time, but it’s proof of what delightfully different deals are out there. Maybe there’s something you’d not normally go for that’s worth a cut-price gamble?
