Two years after release, Star Wars Battlefront 2 continues to be popular thanks to the range of new content updates, including new maps, classes, characters, modes and timed exclusives. Coming this Friday October 25 there's a new Star Wars Battlefront 2 Yavin Ceremony Han skin skin to unlock, and we'll show you how to do it below.
The new Star Wars Battlefront 2 Han Solo Yavin Ceremony skin is based on Han's outfit in the first movie of the saga, Episode IV: A New Hope. It will be made available at the same time as the the Yavin Ceremony Luke skin, which needs an event to unlock - does the Han skin need an event too? We'll answer that!
When is the Star Wars Battlefront 2 Yavin Ceremony Han skin available?
The special A New Hope Ceremony Han Solo skin for Star Wars Battlefront II is available now, from October 23 onwards, beginning with the Another Night on Endor "Halloween" event for the game. But do you need to complete an objective to get it?
How to unlock the Star Wars Battlefront 2 Yavin Ceremony Han skin
Unlike Yavin Ceremony Luke, there's no need to take part in "a special in-game event" - the Another Night in Endor update and event will need to be running, which contains the revamped Ewok Hunt map for Halloween. While the event is going on, you can simply buy the Yavin Ceremony Han skin for credits or crystals. The new update with the skin should be applied on October 23, and the Hunt will begin on Friday 25 - which is when Luke should be in the game, but Han is available to buy immediately.
The A New Hope Han will be counted as an 'Epic' skin and is available to buy for 40,000 in-game credits or 1,000 crystals. On the main menu go to the Collection screen and select Han Solo from the list of heroes. Select the 'Outfits' option, and then 'Yavin Ceremony'. You can then choose to buy the outfit, if you have the cash. There is currently no other way to get this special outfit for Han.
Can you get the Yavin Ceremony Han skin after the event is over?
The good news is that, even if you miss the Another Night In Endor event, the Yavin Ceremony Han Solo skin will always be available to buy in-game as an Epic skin - as it isn't tied to a specific unlock event. There's no special benefits to Epic skins, incidentally - they just cost more.
Alternatively, if you don't want to pay - or can't wait - you can always download a mod to put the skin in the game instead for free. Much simpler!
