Teyon Studios, the developer behind licensed hits RoboCop: Rogue City and Terminator: Resistance, has a new action RPG in the works, and a job posting offers a minuscule hint at what’s next.
The job posting calls for outsourcing a 3D animator to create in-game and cutscene animations of animals such as dogs and wolves.
While it doesn’t really tell us much about what Teyon’s latest will be or whether it’s another licensed game, we do know that it’s the main team behind those previous gems and that it’s being made for PC and consoles.
The Teyon Machine Rumbles On
Of course, the crumbs we get about animals have led to myriad predictions about what licensed 80s action icon Teyon might take a crack at next. A new Rambo game? Mad Max? Conan? Predator? If Teyon is indeed taking on another license, there will be plenty of expectations following the success of previous games.
Terminator: Resistance came out in 2019 and flew very much under the radar. The first-person shooter is set in the post-Judgement Day world and puts players in the ragged boots of a survivor of the Future War. The game had some rough edges, but word of mouth and DLC updates helped it grow in stature.
This gave Teyon a fantastic springboard for RoboCop: Rogue City in 2024. That game, like Terminator: Resistance, was celebrated for capturing the spirit of the movies about cybernetic cop Alex Murphy.
In 2025, a standalone follow-up RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business was released, which saw Murphy fight his way up the deadly OmniTower fortress.
