Since its launch in September 2017, Total War: Warhammer 2 has received continuous support in the shape of DLC and free updates. From small balance tweaks to faction reworks, it has given fans many reasons to return to the New World. Now, one more DLC is on the way before Warhammer 3 launches.
Total War: Warhammer 3 was announced today. It’s got Chaos Gods, daemons, Kislev, Cathay and probably many other things that make it sound glorious. More importantly for fans of the second entry in the trilogy, it means that Sega and Creative Assembly will be shifting focus away from 2017’s grand strategy.
This is, of course, to be expected. The same happened to the original game when Total War: Warhammer 2 launched. Nonetheless, one more DLC in its already expansive library is a great way for the developers to conclude support for the game. It will also keep players busy until Warhammer 3 comes out.
No specific details were shared about the mysterious final Total War: Warhammer 2 DLC, aside from the fact that will arrive “later this year.” More info about it will likely be shared in the following months.
Total War: Warhammer 3 is also coming out in 2021. You can catch up on the first official details by checking out our coverage, which also includes a neat little CGI trailer.
