It’s no secret we at GameWatcher are big fans of cozy vehicle simulation games too, and the Transport Fever series ranks among the most consistent we’ve come across. Next year, Transport Fever 3 is coming with tons of new features, and its first in-game trailer shouldn’t be missed.
Swiss studio Urban Games is once again behind the wheel, though this time it’s also self-publishing the tycoon game. Getting the threequel to consoles as well as PC seems to be the plan right now; the currently confirmed platforms are Steam, Epic Games Store, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. No release window has been established beyond 2026.
Before we give you all the details and tease the new features, check out the in-game trailer below:
“The latest trailer reveals not only a multitude of new vehicles but also several other innovations, as well as a first look at some of the iconic landmarks that can be unlocked and then built by players, expanding the game world while introducing new logistical challenges. Enhanced by the newly added dynamic rain effects, these landmarks look more impressive than ever.”
Of course, everything’s looking more detailed and shinier than ever before, but longtime players will be happier to learn the base-game roster is expanding to over 275 models, including helicopters and cargo trams, which make their debut in this entry.
New features include station specializations, warehouses, and improvements to established elements like in-depth highway construction. This time around, there’s a bigger focus on the ability to plan before driving, and developers say the entirety of the game remains “fully accessible to modders” in hopes of giving the passionate community a foundation to build upon for years to come.
