As Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4 steadily marches towards its long-awaited launch, publisher Deep Silver and developer King Art have shared a brand new CGI trailer reminding us that the Orks mean business.
Although the green menace manages to launch a surprise attack on a Blood Ravens ship orbiting the world of Kronus, Dawn of War 4’s Ork CGI trailer shows, yet again, that only a minuscule amount of subtlety makes its way into the faction’s tactics.
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4 Ork CGI Trailer
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV’s Ork CGI trailer confirms the return of Bad Moons Warboss Gorgutz ‘Ead ‘Unter, whose hatred for the Blood Ravens still burns bright, as showcased by him snapping a Space Marine in half with his massive claw.
On humanity’s side, we learn that Commander Cyrus and Chief Librarian Jonah Orion also return. As the Blood Ravens get overwhelmed by Gorgutz’s boys, who casually destroy their vessel by ramming a Rok into it, the remaining Blood Ravens make their escape planetside.
Sparing no time, Gorgutz gives chase, ordering his boys to “crash fasta!” into the planet before slamming his fist onto a red button that sends the Rok’s engines into overdrive as it heads towards Kronus.
It’s safe to assume that the Blood Ravens won’t get too much respite after escaping their shouty pursuers.
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV’s Ork CGI trailer is part of what will likely be a sustained marketing effort for the highly-anticipated real-time strategy sequel, which is slated to launch at some point during 2026.
If you’ve somehow missed it, a previous trailer gave us our first look at the title’s fairly large, intense battles.
