A whole year has now passed since Warhammer: Vermintide 2 unleashed swarms of ratmen and heretics upon Helmgart and developer Fatshark isn’t missing the opportunity to celebrate.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2’s one year celebration not only lets everyone play the title for free, but adds in-game goodies, alongside discounting the title.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is currently free to play during its one anniversary weekend. The title is also on sale, going for 60% cheaper, which brings the price down to 11,20€ or your regional equivalent.
The game’s one year anniversary is also marked through an in-game event which adds a brand new limited-time level. In order to find it, players have to go through Warhammer: Vermintide 2’s Weekly Quests. The level will only be available for 9 more days.
“Time really flies when you are having fun, and this year has flown by in hyper speed. Feels like just yesterday we ran our beta, introduced Chaos to the gamers, and premiered the extremely popular Twitch integration.” said Martin Wahlund, CEO Fatshark.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 has sold over two million copies since its PC launch last year. Developer Fatshark is currently working on the game’s first major expansion, Winds of Magic, which will add the Beastmen as the third opposing faction.
