Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is indeed going to be getting a snazzy new update very soon, as we've anticipated just last week. Though it's not Halloween per se, Geheimnisnacht will have to do!
This latest update includes a wide variety of interesting stuff, including both new content, as well as a number of tweaks and fixes, though it seems that not all of the changes done in beta are being pushed through to stable just yet.
The most prominent new addition to Vermintide 2 will undoubtedly be the introduction of night-time to every single level in the game. No sun allowed during Geheimnisnacht, it seems! The only light players should now expect to enjoy is that of the two ominous Moons of Warhammer Fantasy.
There's also a new Trophy Room added to the Keep, where all of players' past accomplishments are made visible and tangible (virtually, at least). There's a new event-exclusive portrait frame as well, and an impressive list of fixes - some of which come from the beta build, though the majority of Vermintide 2's beta build will wait until well after Halloween, it seems.
All of the above will be available between the 29th of October and 4th of November at no additional charge to all those who already own Vermintide 2 , so be sure to make good use of night-time now that you have the chance! Additionally, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 will be available on Steam at a 50% off until the 1st of November!
