We Were Here Forever sees players working together to complete co-op puzzles deep within the bowels of Castle Rock, a place chock full of mysteries to uncover. With the title’s console version on their way in early 2023, you may be wondering if crossplay might also be part of the developer’s plans.
We Were Here Forever cross-platform support would help bridge the gap between PC and consoles, bringing together players who might opt to purchase different versions of the game. The developer has confirmed, when revealing the game’s console release date, that We Were Here Forever crossplay will, indeed, become available when the title arrives on new platforms early next year.

Headed to Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4 on January 31, 2023, that is also when We Were Here Forever cross-platform support will go live.
