The year brings plenty of opportunities to nab discounted games across multiple storefronts, but if you’re looking for DRM-free copies of games new and old, you’ll want to keep track of when the next GOG 2025 sale is set to occur.
Gog.com’s 2025 Summer Sale makes it a tad bit easier to push through the relative release drought that usually takes over the year’s hottest months, but the store, which built its reputation on both a lack of DRM for its games and making classic games easier to run on modern machines, doesn’t abandon its users during the cold season.
When Is the GOG Summer Sale 2025?
If you’re wondering when the GOG 2025 Summer Sale is set to go live, the answer is during the latter part of June. More specifically, it starts on June 18, ending three weeks later, on July 9.
- GOG Summer Sale 2025 start date: June 18
- GOG Summer Sale 2025 end date: July 9
GOG’s 2025 Summer Sale features more than 8000 deals that cover both classic and modern games, from AAA to indie, slashing up to 95% off the prices of participating titles.
The storefront is keeping things rather straightforward, with no additional bells and whistles, such as coupons or freebies announced so far.
Past GOG sales did include one or more giveaways, but none have been confirmed for this one. Whether or not they surprise-drop as the event progresses remains to be seen, which is why keeping an eye on the official website (or your GOG Galaxy client) is a great idea.
If you’re unsure where to start, here are a few highlights from GOG’s 2025 Summer Sale that caught our eye:
