After years of waiting, one of the best horror games of the early 2000s is finally coming to modern platforms as Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly returns with a remake on March 12, 2026.
It’s not just a port of the original either. This is a full remake of the Koei Tecmo J-Horror classic, and that means it might be astruggle for some PCs. So services such as GeForce Now, which let you stream PC games in high quality.
All you need is a copy of a GeForce Now-supported game, a subscription to the service, and internet that’s good enough to handle it. But will Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly support GeForce Now? Let’s see, shall we?
Fatal Frame 2 Nvidia GeForce Now Support Status
As it stands, there’s no GeForce Now support for Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly, but that doesn’t rule it out just yet. There’s time before launch, and games also get support post-release.

The original Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly followed twin sisters Mio and Mayu Amakura, who are trapped in a village full of ghosts that was cursed by a ritual they need to re-enact.
The player controls Mio as she searches for the missing Mayu. Mio can combat the ghosts thanks to the famous Camera Obscura, the signature tool of the Fatal Frame series. Yes, taking pictures of ghosts is a weapon here.
