Paradox Interactive has announced that the By Blood Alone expansion for its Grand Strategy World War 2 game Hearts of Iron IV will be released this September.
By Blood Alone is focused on more what-if tales of World War 2, this time focusing on the political and military history of Italy during this timeframe. Players can simply recount what actually happened or take down Mussolini in less orthodox alt-history.

The expansion will also have new Focus Trees for The Ethiopian and Swiss campaigns, New aircraft models and customization, and Peace Conference options that allow for demilitarized zones, reparations, and bids on defeated foes’ goodies. There are also 12 new music tracks, performance tracking of units, and a host of extra unit models to choose from. A pretty meaty list!
The Hearts of Iron IV: By Blood Alone expansion will be released on September 27 and will retail at around $19.99/£15.49.
