World War Z, Saber Interactive’s third-person zombie shooter, launched last month to quite a bit of praise. The developer is busy at work on bringing the Tokyo mission alongside a new special zombie type to vary up the roster of opponents.
This suggests that World War Z’s post-launch content plans are on track.

The announcement was made over on the game’s Twitter account, which also confirmed that the developer also aims to introduce a number of needed fixes to World War Z.
As expected, World War Z’s upcoming Tokyo mission will see players running and gunning undead on the streets of the Japanese metropolis once more.
The new special zombie isn’t one that’s easily overlooked, either. Not only will it be able to fire deadly spit at survivors, but i also has the ability to resurrect itself. Dreading for your life isn’t the same without doubting if the enemy you shot multiple times is actually dead.
If you’re still on the fence regarding World War Z, read our World War Z review to see why we deemed it to be a “capable coop shooter with a lot of potential”.
The team is working hard on fixes and aiming to release the new Tokyo mission and special zombie very soon. Thank you so much for your support and patience! pic.twitter.com/tHTY6LcaLq
