When will Red Dead Redemption 2 be released for the PC? Rockstar Games are known for putting out new games rarely, but when they do release something, it almost always becomes a massive hit. Red Dead Redemption 2 is set to be its next release, coming in five years after Grand Theft Auto V was launched on the seventh generation consoles. This was later released on the PC, so could we see Red Dead Redemption 2 PC coming after the console versions?
If you look at the Grand Theft Auto V PC release, you'll remember that Rockstar didn't release the PC version until the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions came out, so there's a chance that the company plans to release the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 when they do an enhanced version for future consoles, like the PlayStation 5 or the next Xbox code named Project Scarlett. If this is what they plan to do, we may not see a PC release until 2020. We've asked Rockstar to comment on multiple occasions about a PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2, but as expected the studio won't comment about additional platforms at this time. Rockstar will let us know if it's ready to start talking about a possible PC version, but there's a good chance that like Red Dead Redemption, the second release will never hit the PC. We certainly hope that isn't the case, because if there's one console exclusive that we would love to see on the PC, it's the Red Dead Redemption games.
