Bioshock Infinite cover unveiled News

2K Games has revealed the box cover of Ken Levine's upcoming sequel BioShock Infinite, and instead of a Big Daddy gracing the cover, it's protagonist Booker DeWitt, looking all cool and badass with a blunderbuss over his shoulder.

BioShock Infinite delayed a month News

According to reports, Irrational Games Rod Fergusson has ordered the developer to delay the release of BioShock Infinite by a month. Rather than see a 26th February 2013 release, the game will now be on shelves on the 26th March.

Elizabeth 'no liability' in BioShock Infinite, "she can take care of herself" News

In a chat with Irrational's level designer Shaun Elliott for BioShock Infinite, we're told that AI buddy Elizabeth won't be the cause of trips to the 'game over' screen. She's one tough cookie. It was the "first rule" for the team that Elizabeth never created a 'fail state' for the player "because her health bar dipped" or something, and that she's "not always jumping in your face" either.

Irrational show "first few minutes" of BioShock Infinite News

2K Games and developer Irrational have just released over 5 minutes worth of BioShock Infinite gameplay where they give us the "first few minutes" of the game as we fill the shoes of Booker DeWitt. Obviously there's going to be a spoiler ahead as we embark to the "floating city of Columbia" in Infinite. How does one get to a city in the clouds? Via a spooky lighthouse in stormy seas of course.

BioShock Infinite "at home on the PC," not using Games for Windows Live News

Flood your breeches with joy PC gamer because Irrational Games' Ken Levine has confirmed that BioShock Infinite will be void of that awful Chinese finger trap that is the Games for Windows Live client. It'll be using "Steam's standard DRM," which is Steamworks, so there's no GFWL client or SecuRom lurking. It's so the fans have "effortless access" to the game. Infinite has a "dedicated group on the PC".

Four new Irrational images of BioShock Infinite News

Developer Irrational Games and publisher 2K have teased us with four new in-game shots of BioShock Infinite. They're civilly disobedient, learned, scrappy and spiritual. It releases in late March. Instead of underwater dankness, we'll be flying high in 1912's Columbia as Booker DeWitt. We're tasked with rescuing Elizabeth who really likes to hammer those quantum books.

Irrational release 'Truth from Legend' mockumentary for BioShock Infinite News

The latest trailer released for BioShock Infinite is an outdated and obviously VHS recorded documentary that looks to 'separate truth from legend' over what happened to the floating city of Columbia. It's a great spoof that looks to provide some quality edutainment to TV viewers back in the 1970's/80's world of BioShock. It also reveals a little more of Infinite's backstory. It's totally rad.
