Surprise! 2K Games has announced that a Season Pass granting access to all planned DLC for Irrational's BioShock Infinite is coming. Production on "three all-new add-on packs" has begun. From March 26th the Season Pass will be available to the tune of £15.99 and 1600 Microsoft Points, apparently grant us £24 worth of add-on content. Early Bird Special Pack bonus offer.
Gamers with strong religious backgrounds should be warned that the ending of BioShock Infinite may offend their sensibilities, as creator Ken Levine has stated that one artist nearly quit over it.

2K Games is sparing no expense on marketing BioShock Infinite, according to the New York Times interview with Irrational's Randy Levine. In fact, it's spending $100M to market the game; the game's actual development was $100M as well.

Freshly baked WHQL drivers have just come out of Nvidia, which they describe as an "essential update for all GeForce GTX systems." They claim a 41% performance boost for BioShock Infinite in some cases. Then there's the 71% of extra muscle for Crystal Dynamics' Tomb Raider. The 314.22 WHQL drivers include SLI profiles for Resident Evil 6, Dungeons & Dragons: Neverwinter and Sniper Elite.
Irrational Games' long-awaited Bioshock Infinite has taken the top spot in the UK games chart after releasing last Tuesday. The Columbian adventure knocks Tomb Raider down to second and fends off competition from Luigi's Mansion 2 and Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel to lead the way.

The month of March for the UK's video game retail market wasn't so bad thanks to Square Enix's Tomb Raider and 2K Games' BioShock Infinite. While it was 1.5% down from 2012, it beat January and February. In fact revenue was up 4.2% this March compared to last year's, jumping from £67.7m to £70.6m. Tomb Raider was the lead runner selling more than double of BioShock Infinite.
Irrational's BioShock Infinite keeps 1st place in the UK all format chart for another week followed by Crystal Dynamics' Tomb Raider in 2nd. FIFA 13 and Defiance trade places 3rd and 4th respectively. Luigi's Mansion 2 also holds 5th another week, with Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and Assassin's Creed 3 climbing 6th and 7th. The top 10 titles remain more or less the same suspects.

Techland's Dead Island: Riptide has debuted 1st place in the UK all format chart, knocking Injustice: Gods Among Us down a peg, but it still beat Capcom's release of Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen. Star Trek launched 4th, as Tomb Raider and BioShock Infinite nudged down 5th and 6th. LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins, a prequel for 3DS, managed a respectable 8th.
Take 2 has announced that the publisher earned $1.222B for the fiscal year 2013 ending on the 31st March, crediting such titles as BioShock Infinite, MLB 2K13, and Borderlands 2 downloadable content as the chief source, while older titles also drove sales.
The NPD group has released figures for the US sales from the 4th April through to the 7th May. The Xbox 360 led console sales, with 130K units sold. Sony and Nintendo declined to reveal their unit sales, though reportedly, the Wii U sold 55K units, 20K less than the Wii.
