Paradox Interactive's upcoming War of the Vikings has already enjoyed a "well-received" Alpha, and now many more can board the longboat to pillage bugs. It has been made available by Steam Early Access. The studio wanted to run another Alpha, an eventual Beta and offer pre-orders... "it was a no-brainer" to go with Early Access on Steam. A sampler is on offer from October 1st to the 4th.
Steam isn't the only one after your precious Thanksgiving / Autumn pennies as Humble Bundle's very own Humble Store is now running a holiday sale. Its bloody price campaign begins with Crusader Kings II. The entire grand strategy with all its DLC to-date is up for a poultry $20. That's right, celebrate Thanksgiving by giving the Native Americans the week off from cultural persecution.
As of today the Mount & Blade franchise is squarely back in its developer's hands, TaleWorlds, as Paradox Interactive give back the reins of the IP after five and a half years. Paradox "feel honoured" to have been part of the journey and as a parting gift to fans, they'll be giving Early Access to Magicka: Wizard Wars in their library.
