Yes, technically 2K Marin is developing the first-person shooter reboot of the turn-based strategy XCOM, but not the team behind BioShock 2. Instead it's being held at their Australian offices, which is also regarded as 2K Marin. Why the odd pairing? Don't know and 2K won't say yet.

2K Marin's latest DLC for BioShock 2, Protector's Trails or Minerva's Den, adds in stripes to the hacking mini-game to help colour-blind gamers. A title update couldn't fix this because it doesn't hold content, "only code" believes a developer. It was a "technical constraint" but not for DLC.
2K has announced that Protector Trials and Minerva's Den DLC for BioShock 2 will be shirking a PC tour, releasing only for the Xbox 360 and PS3. The studio is "sorry for the disappointment" to PC players but "timing and technical issues" scuttled the desktop versions. DLC will get gameplay patches.

Currently digital sales equate to "less than 15" percent of their total figures, but "that's clearly growing." Physical discs will remain because of "huge file sizes."
BioShock 2 gamers can rejoice as 2K has decided after all to ensure the Protector Trials and Minerva's Den DLC for Xbox 360 and PS3 does hit PC. They cited "timing and technical issues" were behind a PC no-show for the content at the time. Protector Trials will "cert" this December and be free.
