Nacon has just announced The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, a new co-op horror adventure from the makers of Zeno Clash with conquistadors and genuine dread at the centre.
This seconding clashing of Zeno will have open-ended play say the ACE developers, with huge areas to explore alongside "RPG elements." Zeno Clash arose from a failed project, one that ambitiously wanted loads of RPG classes, pacifist solutions to all encounters and reactive NPCs with hearts of neutrality.
The Valve Source-powered Zeno Clash from ACE Team would love to brawl its way onto Xbox Live Arcade, with the devs shopping for a publisher. If it did go console then they'd add "a little bit of extra content," but that's getting ahead of themselves. Xbox 360 was chosen over PS3 because of Source's optimisation on the platform.
The PC brawler powered by Valve's Source engine will arrive on Xbox Live Arcade in its 'Ultimate' form from developer ACE Team. It comes with new stuff and improvements. New features, gameplay modes, and even fan-suggested improvements have made it into this XBLA title release coming next spring. One new addition is a co-op Tower Challenge mode.
Finally you can brawl weird birdmen powered by Valve's Source engine with Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition, an update on the '09 PC release. It'll arrive for Xbox Live Arcade May 5th says publisher Atlus, with enhancements and rebalancing along with co-op multiplayer trials.
Developer Ace Team hasn't forgotten about a sequel to Zeno Clash but they're busy with Rock of Ages for the moment, and are concentrating on that. They'll "continue the story" of the weird and intense Zeno Clash but only when they feel that "time is right" for the studio. Ace now uses Unreal Engine 3.
Publisher Atlus has announced that the sequel to ACE Team's first person beat'em up brawler, Zeno Clash, will be coming in early 2013 in PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Zeno Clash 2 will feature an open world, with all of the enemies, items and characters from the first game returning, as well as new content. The game would also feature online co-op.
Developer Ace Team revealed six new screenshots for their upcoming first-person brawler Zeno Clash II which is coming out for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Major Nelson has revealed the upcoming Xbox Live Marketplace content for the next two weeks, and it's highlighted by the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on Xbox on Demand and the major Revolution downloadable content pack for it.
Fever dream brawler Zeno Clash 2 is getting its own deck of Steam Trading Cards in its latest update, but also gains two new challenge modes. The first is the Coliseum Challenge Mode, pitching swarms of enemies against you. The second is the Frame-rate Challenge Mode, which pits the game against your PC. An arena filled with PC hardware is flooded with wireframe enemies with the sole purpose of eroding FPS.
A new Humble Bundle Weekly Sale is now live, featuring both Zeno Clash titles. The sale ends on Thursday, 19th December noon EST.
