Publisher Sega and developer Creative Assembly have yet to share an official Total War: Warhammer 40,000 Space Marines unit roster, but we did get a glimpse at how deeply into the source material it ventures thanks to a handful of pre-alpha screenshots shared on its Steam page.
The faction boasts a blend of infantry, armor, and walker units, including what appear to be Intercessor (or Tactical) Squads, Chaplains, Terminators, Dreadnoughts, and Repulsor battle tanks.

These are very likely far from all of the units that will make it into the full game, and, if the Total War Warhammer trilogy is anything to go by, we should be able to recruit different variants that alter what they’re most efficient against.
Total War: Warhammer 40,000’s announcement trailer seems to suggest as much, showing off Space Marines taking different types of wargear into battle.
Although it is entirely CGI, so less of a potential source for the actual unit roster, it is based on the developer’s vision for the full game.
Since development is still ongoing, the Total War: Warhammer 40,000 Space Marines unit roster is prone to change, making it difficult to predict.
We’ll have to patiently wait for more reveals from Creative Assembly before getting a proper sense of the exact units we’ll control in its sprawling battles.
