Free Command And Conquer FPS Renegade X has just received a hefty Beta 5 update, marking the final phase of Beta testing before the game is released in full. It packs in a bunch of new content, including several new vehicles, new crate power-ups, and a bunch of other fixes and tweaks. But it's the new vehicles that everyone wants to hear about, right? They include a number of classic Command And Conquer mainstays; the Hover MRLS, Titan, Wolverine, Tick Tank, Recon Bike, and Buggy. Does anyone remember Tick Tanks from Tiberian Sun? They were total rubbish.
Fourth and final beta version of fan-made shooter Renegade X released
Mod team Totem Arts has released the fourth beta version of Renegade X, its fan remake of first-person shooter Command and Conquer: Renegade. This is the last beta version before the game's full release, and adds three new levels, modding tools, optimisations and lots of new gear to experiment with.
