Offering Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition For Free To Owners Of The Original Is "Not Possible" Says Pitchford
The rumours stood tall and true. After months of peculiar leaks and a curveball tweet at the end, Randy Pitchford's Gearbox Studios finally outed the existence of Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition - the HD remaster to People Can Fly's bro-blaster.
There's always a lot going on at Gearbox Softworks. Whether its media drama, praise or speculation, the spotlight is seemingly never off Randy Pitchford and his team. So with him dropping a little hint of things to come, the media is rightfully on his case with the healthy dose of speculation.
Those high-resolution Bulletstorm screenshots leaked around the middle of the year never did pertain to any kind of announcement at E3 or Gamescom shortly after, but the constantly interesting Brazilian Advisory Rating Board may have finally let slip another clue as to if, or even when, we'll see Bulletstorm return.
Allegedly coming from Gearbox Software, the board site has listed "Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition" for a 2017 release with the platforms of choice being PC, PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.
, the Polish team behind the underrated Bulletstorm and fantastically entertaining Painkiller, has regained its independence from Epic Games. Actually, that makes it sound like there was some kind of annexation.
"Ownership of the company, which had been rebranded as Epic Games Poland in 2013, has returned to the local leadership to reflect the team’s desire to create their own games, a move Epic supports," the team writes in a press release.
