The new Command & Conquer from BioWare Victory, which was to be C&C: Generals 2, has become a free-to-play affair from EA. It will launch without a singleplayer campaign, but 'will get one'. Developer Phenomic has announced that their free-to-play, browser-based online real-time strategy game, Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances, has exited beta testing and is officially live. Players choose one of two classic factions,, the Global Defense Initiative (GDI) or the Nod. As they harvest resources and build armies, players must form strategic alliances with their neighbors for offensive and defensive purposes.
