MMORTS Dawn of Fantasy from Reverie World Studios has just received it's "biggest and most anticipated" update in the game's history as co-op play is now available to the community.
There are new features and "hundreds of small tweaks" in patch 1.1.9. The main highlight are "co-op questing and sieges," letting you combine strength with allies. It's a "change in direction".
Developer Reverie World Studios has released a new developer diary for their MMORTS, Dawn of Fantasy. The producers show off the "Kingdom Wars" gameplay mode, which is an exclusively single-player Conquer-the-World style campaign mode with a mix of Skirmish and MMORTS gameplay elements. The mode takes the epic siege warfare, continuous army progression, army construction, and World Map from the massively multiplayer ‘Online Kingdom’ mode and pairs it
with an intelligent and aggressive AI, improved diplomacy features, and the ability to control conquered strongholds.
505 Games and Reverie World Studios have released a new developer diary for Dawn of Fantasy that shows the Stronghold Defense mode featured in this upcoming MMORTS for the PC.
Stronghold Defense, the defensive counterpart of the Lay Siege skirmish mode, gives players the opportunity to practice defending a prebuilt stronghold in a quick-paced skirmish...
Reverie World Studios's self-described MMORTS Dawn of Fantasy will be released on June 5, 2011, according to publisher 505 Games.
